Red Snapper season opens in June!
Red Snapper season re-opens on June 1st and daily limits will be easy pickings on full day reef trips. These bright red reef fish are the best eating and strongest fighters in the Gulf of Mexico. Bigger Snapper are usually caught while we are targeting grouper and other reef fish species. Red Snapper are an easy catch and will eat both live and dead bait fished off the bottom. Don’t wait to book a trip, Red Snapper season is only open until mid July and it’s important to book your trip early!
Red Snapper are on almost every Wreck, Reef and rocky structure past 100ft of water. Full day trips are required to reach the Red Snapper grounds, but is worth the ride.
